Tiny Harbor Town

Tiny Harbor Town is a management sim that's refreshingly free of the usual timers that lock you out for hours. You build docks, manage fishers, upgrade cottages and watch your little village come to life. It plays best in short, frequent sessions.

The interface is dense with menus but once you learn where things are it flows nicely. Pinch-to-zoom works well and dragging buildings around is smooth. There's a helpful toggle to mute the ambient gulls when you've heard them one too many times.

On the battery front it's gentle for a sim with this much going on screen. It never got hot during our tests even after long sessions, which makes it an easy recommendation for a daily low-key game.
